Mini Newborn Photo Shoot with baby Lucy

Baby Lucy visited the studio for her mini newborn photo shoot and what a dream she was! Despite having some discomfort with her stomach Lucy was the perfect model. Using my special wrapping technique we swaddled Lucy, played some white noise and before we knew it she was in a nice deep sleep. The techniques I use are usually pretty helpful in settling babies, especially if they’re suffering from trapped wind or clogged bowels. Typically when babies are swaddled correctly they feel safe as it reminds them of being in the womb.

I took my 3 week old daughter for a photoshoot and im so over the moon with the outcome, Danya was amazing with her so patient and professional. I felt so relaxed and at ease throughout the full shoot i cant thank her enough these pictures i will treasure forever

An unexpected space became available so Lucy’s Mum managed to grab the space literally just the night before, and turned up to the studio for her session at 10am. The only brief she gave for the session was ‘pinks’ so we went with it. I kept to a simple cream setup and then the dusky pink that compliments Lucy’s skin tones perfectly! A mini newborn photo shoot is perfect for those who just want a few photos of their baby to print on their own. I have no age restrictions and all of my sessions are baby led. The best time to book your session is before the baby arrives, however I do take last minute bookings if I have availability.
